British Columbia is expected to have over 1 million job openings by 2031. According to the latest BC Labour Market Outlook survey report, released by WorkBC, the province of BC is expected to have over 1 million job openings by 2031.

About 635,000 openings will be “replacement” for workers who will have retired and 369,000 openings are expansion opportunities related to the resumption of the market by the recovery of Covid-19 and economic growth.
